Repeating events may be specified under the repeat data section of the event edit dialog, pictured here:
By default 'does not repeat' is selected. Choose one of the two repeat types to specify a repeating event. Make sure to specify the correct repeat end date. By default the repeat end date is a week after the start date of the event. Click on the calendar popup icon () to select a repeat end date.
There are two types of repeating events; repeat every and repeat on.
Repeat every events
The repeat every pattern (select the first radio button) allows you to specify repeating events of the type 'repeats every day' or 'repeats every other week'. Play around with the other options. They are more easily understood by using them than they would be with words.
Repeat on events
The repeat on pattern (the other radio button) allows you to specify repeat patterns such as 'repeats on the first Monday of each week' or 'repeats on the last Tuesday of every other month'. Play around with the other options. They are more easily understood by using them than they would be with words.
Exceptions to repeating events
